Volunteers are the lifeblood of Catmandu! Without the wonderful people who selflessly give their time, energy and skills; we could not do what we do. Our success or failure is dependent on community support and involvement.

How can I help?

 

As a volunteer, you can socialize, cuddle, groom and help care for the kitties in our sanctuary. You can help with our morning cleaning routine (litter boxes, food/water, sweep, etc.) Other opportunities are available for folks to do office work, give tours, and help with adoptions.

Please be willing to make a 3-6 month commitment and agree to show up on the dates and times you are scheduled.

Many of our cats take a minute to warm up to people they don't know. The first time you come, only a few will let you get near. The more frequently and consistently you visit, the higher the number of cats that will let you pet and love on them. Come often enough and you will eventually have your very own fan club. Treats help.
