A little over 7 years old, Meiko has lived at Catmandu almost her entire life. She came in with a passle of sibings who were all feral kittens. While her litter mates all tamed right down and were soon adopted, Meiko absolutely refused to have anything to do with humans. She ran, hissed, swatted and bit anyone who tried to get near her. After several years of patiently working with her, Meiko has finally become relatively friendly with humans. She enjoys pets from people she likes and has a pretty good life here at Catmandu. She has "her" cat tree and a favorite drawer where she spends lots of time cuddling with her best friend Dove. 
Unfortunately, she is one of those cats that tends to run from strangers and would likely require several months of patient work to adjust to a new home. The combination makes it highly unlikely that she will be adopted....but it could happen. Until then, she is happy and loved at Catmandu.
