So sorry you need to find a new home for your feline friend.  Unfortunately, there are usually a lot more cats looking for homes than there are potential adopters looking for cats. Catmandu is almost always at maximum capacity and can only take in a new cat when someone is adopted.

Although it is a fabulous place, Catmandu is not the best option for every cat. Because we are cage-free, cats who have always been only cats or do not get along with other cats will not do well here. Cats that are timid and easily frightened tend to be overwhelmed by the hustle and bustle of daily life at the 'Du.

To increase the possibility of finding your cat a new home, we suggest you post on the numerous pet re-homing groups on Facebook. We are glad to share on our Facebook page as well. If you need help creating a post, please let us know. Be sure to thoroughly screen potential adopters to make sure they will provide a good home.

Please do not privately rehome cats or kittens that are not spayed or neutered. Get them fixed before you send them out in the world. There are already too many homeless cats and kittens in our area and not enough homes for them.
